This material has characteristics reminiscent of American sweatshirt fabrics from the 1950s and 1960s. Its surface is made of yarns that contain just the right amount of air to create a classic yet uneven texture. The yarns are made from U.S. cotton yarns produced by a technique called open-end spinning, which results in a natural crumbly feel to the fabric.
